What are the precautions for using and operating a granulator? Lets take a look together!
Notes:
1. After the machine is installed according to the requirements, before using the machine, it is necessary to carefully refer to the user manual, familiarize oneself with the structure of the machine, and the functions of each electrical box switch and button. It should be operated by personnel familiar with the process, so that timely measures can be taken in case of accidents during the trial operation to prevent accidents from happening.
2. Before starting up, check if all lines are connected correctly and if the water and electricity supply is normal.
3. Gear lubricating oil must be added to the gearbox (usually already added by the company during production), and the amount of oil added should be based on the visible oil level on the level gauge, neither too little nor too much; Check if the oil pump is working properly.
4. When using a new machine, first heat it up to the desired temperature.
5. When the machine stops using, first open the waste valve to discharge all the stored materials in the box. After the pressure in the box drops, turn off the scraper switch and waste discharge switch. Then turn off the hydraulic station motor, turn off the switches in each heating zone, and finally turn off the main power switch.
6. When the machine is restarted, first heat it up to the desired temperature (to melt all the plastic in the cavity), open the waste discharge, and after the plastic flows out, start the scraper, close the waste valve, and enter production.
7. The decrease in discharge during production may be due to the blockage of the holes in the mesh plate. The extruder should be stopped first, the waste valve should be opened, and the mesh plate should be replaced after the pressure in the box decreases.
8. When replacing the mesh or scraper, the waste valve must be opened first. After the pressure in the box decreases, the screws on the cover plate can be removed and the mesh or scraper can be replaced.
