Usage and dosage of chicken manure organic fertilizer
Fresh chicken manure needs to be fully fermented and decomposed before it can be used. Rotten chicken manure is an excellent organic fertilizer. Fresh chicken manure needs to be fully fermented and decomposed before it can be used. Parasites and their eggs in chicken manure, as well as some infectious bacteria, are inactivated and deodorized through the decomposition process. Common fermentation methods include natural fermentation and biological fermentation:
1. Natural fermentation
Pile fresh chicken manure into a soil pile with humidity controlled between 60-65%, then cover it with agricultural film or plastic cloth. When the temperature rises to 70 ℃, turn it over and add water, then pile it up again. When the temperature drops to room temperature and there is no odor, the fermentation is complete. If the amount of chicken manure is low, fresh weeds, crop straw, and other fillers can be used. A layer of grass and chicken manure is compacted, then covered with agricultural film for fermentation. After 7-10 days, flip it over and let it ferment again. Alternatively, plant ash can be added, stirred evenly, and stacked for fermentation for 5-7 days.
2. Biological bacterial fermentation
Adding Bacillus subtilis to fresh chicken manure and stirring thoroughly can achieve rapid fermentation, which usually only takes about 10 days to complete. Fermentation should be carried out in a rain proof greenhouse or covered with agricultural film on the pile to avoid rainwater erosion and prevent loss of fertilizer efficiency. Biological fermentation not only takes short time, but also kills bacteria in fertilizers, with the characteristics of high nutrient content and long shelf life.
2. Is chicken manure organic fertilizer?
1. Chicken manure is an organic fertilizer. Research has shown that the organic matter in chicken manure is higher than that in manure, containing trace elements, beneficial bioactive bacteria, and various enzymes required by plants. After decomposition, it is a good organic fertilizer, suitable for grapes, watermelons, fruit trees, and vegetables.
2. Organic fertilizer, also known as farm manure, mainly comes from plants or animals and is processed from biomass, animal and plant waste, and plant residues, including human feces, manure, compost, green manure, cake fertilizer, biogas fertilizer, mud fertilizer, etc.
