1. Stamping type flipping machine, also known as track type flipping machine

(1) The strip type turning and throwing machine is mainly used for large-scale off-site strip type composting on large farms, and is widely used in various livestock, poultry manure, straw household waste, sludge treatment, and small-scale municipal sludge treatment projects.

(2) The strip type flipping machine has the advantages of low fuel consumption, flexible movement, strong flipping force, and easy driving, but it has disadvantages such as low composting depth, large site occupation, and poor factory environment.

2. Slot type flipping machine

(1) The trough type turning and throwing machine, also known as the guide rail type turning and throwing machine, is equipped with tracks on the walls of a long fermentation tank. The turning and throwing machine can move forward and backward on the tracks on the fermentation tank, and the throwing knife that rotates while walking can turn, break, and throw materials backwards to accumulate.

(2) The trough type flipping machine is mainly composed of a drive system, flipping system, and transmission system, and the main source of power is electricity.

3. Chain type flipping machine

(1) The chain type flipping machine is suitable for trough fermentation, and its main structure is a flipping trolley placed on the working frame. When the working frame reaches the designated flipping position, the chain plate starts to rotate continuously and moves forward along the fermentation trough with the working frame as a whole. The flipping parts continuously grab the materials in the trough and transport them diagonally upward to the back of the working frame and fall down.

(2) The transmission mode of the chain type flipping machine is chain transmission, so the flipping resistance is small and energy-saving. The materials captured during the flipping process slowly move up the pallet and then fall down. The high drop of the scattered materials causes the water to evaporate completely and come into full contact with the air. Through the combination of horizontal and vertical movements, the materials in the fermentation tank are fully flipped.

4. New type of flipping machine

Considering that as long as the flipping effect is achieved and the manure and other materials are fully in contact with the air, some scholars have studied the use of high-pressure gas to achieve the flipping effect of manure, and have also applied intelligent control technology to develop pneumatic flipping machines.
