Deep application of soil cover: For solid organic fertilizers such as compost, cake fertilizers, etc., it is recommended to use deep application of soil cover, which involves applying fertilizer to the deep layers of the soil and then covering the soil to reduce nutrient loss and improve fertilizer utilization efficiency. Cover and return to the field: Crop residues such as straw and green manure can be directly plowed and returned to the field, covering them directly on the surface and converting them into soil organic matter through natural decomposition. This method is both environmentally friendly and economical, but attention should be paid to controlling the cover thickness to avoid affecting crop growth. Ditch or hole application: For economically valuable crops such as fruit trees and vegetables, deep application methods such as ditch or hole application can be used to directly apply fertilizer to the root distribution layer to promote root absorption.

After application, tillage: Before planting, organic fertilizer can be evenly spread on the surface, and then mixed with soil through tillage to evenly distribute the fertilizer in the tillage layer, avoiding local over concentration or over dilution.

Liquid organic fertilizer: For liquid organic fertilizers such as biogas slurry and humic acid, they can be applied through irrigation systems or foliar spraying to quickly supplement the nutrients needed by crops. Coordinated irrigation: In arid areas or when soil moisture is insufficient, organic fertilizers can be dissolved in water and applied through drip irrigation, sprinkler irrigation, and other methods to supplement soil moisture and promote fertilizer dissolution and absorption.
